RIFT represents the divide between the grind of new metal, and the aggressive pace of old.The core of this band consists of four brothers. JJ- Bass, Bobby- Vox, Milz, Easo- Guitars. Long time comrades, that have grown up together. The two guitarists were even born in the same hospital only a week apart.From the time RIFT started sometime in 2000, to today the band has been involved with playing numerous metalfests and multipul band events, headlined a few large selling local events, and even placed first, and second 2x, at Battle Of The Bands. ("We did it for the money.")Inspired by bands like Machine Head, Pantera to the thrash of Megadeth, Slayer and At The Gates.Fat distortion, fast licks, and passionate vocals. This is what makes up RIFT.
