Music has played a major role in Paul's since the very early years in his life; beginning with piano, later saxophone, and most recently taking ahold of the guitar. With the guitar now as his instrument of choice, Paul has taken his love of writing poetry and combined it with the six-string to begin creating his relaxing music, described by one listener as "the most genuine expression of emotion within music" that she had ever heard.
Paul draws his lyrics from his life - the people in it; the experiences through it; and the inspirations found from it. At times his music speaks of love and happiness, while other times it speaks of heart-break and confusion.
Paul has recently finished a two year adventure teaching English in Seoul, South Korea, where he also wrote, composed and produced some of his newest music. He also took the stage for a one-night-only performance with his band "Those Guys.
After travelling through Southeast Asia, Africa & Europe with the love of his life, Paul returned home to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada where he married the love of his life Gretchen and continued to pursue his life's passions. However, in an exciting new twist, Paul and his wife returned to South Korea in February 2008 to continue a new chapter of life's adventures in the small island of Jeju. Paul continues to play and produce music, as he responds to the inspirational environments he finds himself in each and every day.
