Hip Hop w/a Dash Of Ketchup

About Me

Remember when hip hop was pure? The days when we knew that hip hop would embrace us, love us, and feed us good music as long as we loved and respected this culture we call hip hop? I do and wish things were right..right with our culture. Hip Hop is suffering from a virus that commercialism has injected into the veins of our culture through bad radio stations, bad music television stations, media, and so on. It hurts to think that so many of us who grew up with or are growing up with hip hop have either been brainwashed or simply given up on what once was. There is a cure...turn off that bullsh*t and get back to your roots, back to true school hip hop as you embrace the new school of hip hop artists pushing their way past the garbage that fills the air. So people lets reclaim our culture and attack the wack. Shouts out to my label mates DeepThinka Records, Stones Throw Records, Fat Beats Records, The Rukus, Breakdown & Ranmecca, Surreal & DJ Balance, MilkFat, Gsyn, A Tribe Called Quest, Jay Dee/J Dilla (RIP), Pseudo Slang, Undergroundhiphop.com, Maspyke, El Da Sensei, MF Doom, Louis Logic, Akrobatik, MR. Lif, DJ Vadim, Red Tide, Slopfunkdust, Gwan Massive.
