About Me

I'm fun-loving guy who's just living on the periphery. Does that make sense? Oh, well. I'm here to keep in contact with friends from both Indiana and Tennessee. That's my main purpose because I'm back and forth between them so often. I'm also here meeting new people because, well, we can all stand to make new friends. :-D

My Interests

Music and movies top the list, I'd say. Going out to Greg's on Friday is a lot of fun, especially when I'm with good friends. Seeing new places and traveling are right up there.

Music:

Movies:

Oh, God....too many to name them all, so I guess I'll name a "few". In no particular order we have Mannequin, the first 2 X-Men movies, The Craft, To Wong Foo..., The Breakfast Club, Mean Girls, Jawbreaker, Rent, Grease, Nightmare on Elm Street 3 and 4, The Core, Resident Evil, and Scary Movie 2. Yeah....that's as well as I can do with brevity. That's never been a virtue of mine. :-)

Television:

I used to watch Charmed when it was on. That and Buffy The Vampire Slayer are still my favorites of all time, but now I'm obsessed with Heroes. If you don't watch it, you should. It has a phenomenal cast and excellent writing. Sordid Lives: The Series is quickly becoming one of my faves. Oh, yes...Will & Grace is another favorite. I mustn't forget Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and of course Smallville! Queer As Folk will always hold a special place in my heart for coming out, well, when I did! I Love New York 1 & 2 LOL I love that crazy bitch.

Books:

I'm recently getting into reading. I'm loving "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West". I hope to get to see it on Broadway someday. I've read some stuff by Shakespeare and Poe (recreationally) just because I went through a phase, I suppose. And yes, I'm a big dork who loves Harry Potter, so sue me! What I'd like to do is devote some free time on weekdays to reading more. It's increasing my vocabulary, and that's just fine by me. :-)

My Blog

Nature vs. Nurture

There's a lot of talk when it comes to the topic of homosexuality.  The question that people tend to ask the most is "are you born or turned gay?"  Well, some ask "do you choose to be" but w...

The Tool, the Blame, and the Idol

What is this scapegoating thing?  It seems that more and more people are placing the blame upon someone else rather than taking responsibility for their own faults.  If you're wondering what...

Thoughts from Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds

So I just watched this movie, and I have to say I was really impressed.  Yeah, sure, hot gays run amock, but it touched on real subjects.  There was this line about pre-cheating.  Basic...
