Crowds were left in awe as they witnessed a Mass Choral Ensemble of fifty plus members being led by this little person! With presence and poise accompanied by the right notes and precise timing, it was only natural that at the age of nine he took the next step into the recording booth. Troy recorded lead, background and live drums on his first professional recording on TCS records, a gospel album entitled Jesus I Love You.As Troy grew to a young man and exposure to the public eye increased, so did many opportunities. Performing with several vocal groups, lead to live performances and the chance to perform on local television show Puttin on The Hits where his group placed 2nd overall. This was just the beginning to a streak of 1st place talent shows and local video & television appearances.Troys big break came when he got the opportunity to audition as a background singer for Musiq (formerly Def Jam / Def Soul artist). Troy made a lasting impression and toured with Musiq for three years including shows across the United States and Europe. His reputation grew and so did his resume as he took jobs with Bilal, Joe, Jaguar Wright, McFadden & Whitehead and Jill Scott to name a few and through his travels a national fan base is eagerly awaiting his solo project.His passionate delivery of unique tones and harmonies soon brought calls to Bless the Track from Musiq (bkgrds / Dont Change and The Reason), Syleena Johnson, (bkgrds/ No Words, Cry for You and So Willingly, Kenny Latimore, Aaries, Joe-(bkgrds and co-wrote Testify) and Jon B.At the age of 26 and having developed his own Soulful niche, Troy has written, recorded and produced over 150 songs.
