This east bay band with it's own unique form of cultural hijinks pulled off 32 shows and a brief west coast tour with a few in L.A. and San Diego. A few bands that shared the stage with the TRON are as follows; spirithouse, guano, green day, puzzlefish, grover, flash bastards, and a scary hollywood hair band named "flywheel" that insisted on shaking hands with us. The whereabouts of graham and ian hughes is misty and foggy as ireland was a point for departure and tim kroekl plays bass in ohio now. When the 7 inch was pressed it recieved scant airplay and after playing lesser known clubs of the east bay such as boomerang, cats alley, even club 181 which wasn't considered too punky, they eventually split. The grotty WEST O scene had it's share of menacing warehouse parties too that gave the "opto's"[as shiela candidly remarked to me and where are you now sheila?!] a chance to display their antics and occasional visual schemes. For those of you who may have filmed us your more then welcome to submit the videos here on this site and we'll gladly put it up! It's been cool being mentioned in a book finally but there's much more to come so please stay tuned! Much thanks to you and those who supported this very strange brit-pop band from the east bay!
