Well I was born and raised in small town Northwood, Iowa and the rest of my life has consisted of moving on to a new location every two years. I attended Waldorf College for 2 years, Wartburg for 2 years, and now Iowa State University for 2 and a half. It seems I may have a problem with commitment or I get bored very easy. The person I am today had been formed by each place I have lived and each friend I have made. I am the type of guy that loves to get the most out of life. I will rarely turn down a chance to hang out with a friend, travel to somewhere I have never been, or a challenge that is brought before me. I guess you could say I am curious like a cat. My life is pretty simple. I try not to worry about the small things in life but look at the entire picture. Some of the simple things that give me great joy are playing and watching sports, listening to a vast amounts of music, and watching movies and TV shows that I can relate with, make me laugh, and reveal truth . I stumble at times but know how to move ahead and pick myself up even in the roughest conditions. There is a tension in the way things are and the way things could be or should be. Most of my life is spent trying to ease that tension and find out what is true and beautiful in this world. Sometimes my heart and my actions contradict each other but my heart will always be focused on the eternal truth. I really don't like drama at all. I am a glass half full kind of a guy and not half empty. I also enjoy telling stories about my life and relating those stories to life in general. I appear to share a lot about me but I am not an open book.
