...with the evidence of speaking through music!

About Me

I was conceived with a passion for music. My Daddy used to play records, 8 tracks, and reel to reels. He had at least 10 Bose speakers in the basement of our home. You could hear anything from Jazz, to R&B, and even Redd Fox playing all the way down the block! My sister, brothers and I used to share a pair of skates to roll back and forth in the open space, moving with the beats and melodies from artists old and new. I definitley developed a love for music early, and it became my life. I was out helping my cousin pass out pluggers and hang posters before I was even old enough to go to the parties I was promoting. I credit Steve Poindexter for introducing me to the DJ industry and teaching me how to work the 1's and 2's, (thanks cuz!). I made my own mix tapes, with a boombox. With the popularity of House music, I had no problem with selections between Daddy and Cuz. I knew that I wanted to go into media. Oprah Winfrey inspired me to pursue broadcasting. I thought she was great. I vowed to be her friend, but become better. I went to college to obtain a degree in Mass Communication, concentrating on broadcast production. While at school, I worked at the campus radio station organizing, arranging, and promoting concerts and events. I produced radio broadcasts of the football games, working with an ABC affiliate. The show I hosted in the evenings was called "Sounds of Sophistication", and I was Ms. Sophisticate herself. I graduated from Grambling State University and decided to stay in Louisiana. While working in Corporate America, I never lost my desire to be involved in the music industry. I have made friends in commercial radio, and continue to network around the globe. I am a Child of God and my purpose is to evangelize and minister to the masses. To contact me: leave a messageI edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!
