I started mixing because i realized one day that music is an obsession, and I love the feeling that you get when you make something and then you’re like "Holy crap that sounds awesome." So basically i put the two together. My most inspirational artists are BT, Celldweller, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Tom Salta, Hybrid, and Elite Force. It’s people like Klayton, Brian, Ferry, and ’Star that I look up to. People who dont just do it for the money but do this because they love it and have a passion for it. Check them out and maybe they’ll inspire you too. - Totally not saying this becasue I’m on the street teams. ;-)I mix and produce at home, no fancy studios and all that. Just an Acer computer with a hell of a lot of gbs on it. Nothing special. I make my music becasue it’s something I love to do. I know I’m done with a track when I like it, not when other people do. Even if you do or don’t like what I make, I respect your opinion. It usually takes me like 5 months (literally) to finish just one track becasue if something sounds just a tiny bit off to me, then I dont like it and HAVE to change it. This is usually why I dont finish most of my songs, but I’ll get them all done...Eventually....My tools: I use ACID Music Studio as my main DAW and also use Fl Studio 7 to synthesize my own loops and what not. When I feel that it will fit, I might use a premade loop here or there (even though I hate to) but what can I say, some stuff just kicks so much ass that you have to use it. You know what im talking about right?
