About Me

Catch the video for Bring Back The Routemaster below. Also on YouTubeWell, to start with I produce music- mainly House and Dance but also Hip Hop, Soul and Easy Listening. My interest in music started from a young age thanks to my mum and aunty. Hearing 80s soul, reggae, people like Roy Ayers, Isley Brothers and De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Salt N Pepa, Soul II Soul really made me love music plus I wanted to meet Michael Jackson. In fact I went to one of his concerts which was an experience! Anyway, I learnt the recorder, (as you do in primary school), the violin and then the piano. Got a 6 track keyboard and started composing on that, wanted to make music for TV progs and Ads, loved making music. Loved Jungle, Hip Hop and then Garage whilst I was at school. Then, I left music behind for a bit to study languages and get a "proper" job (who's heard that one before?) but eventually, during my degree, I decided to get back into making music: 'He Who Observes the Wind Will Not Sow And He Who Regards The Clouds Will Not Reap' Ecc 11:4Living abroad for a year in France and in Mexico, I picked up the guitar and discovered other kinds of music i wouldn't usually listen to like French Hip Hop, Zouk and Salsa. This was really inspiring and when I got back I went for it. Got my equipment, started going studios and meeting other musicians, producers and engineers and blam, here I am...
