Hailing from Fayetteville, Arkansas, Gunghobos were founded by Chris Plowman (Plowhobo) shortly after the realization of a new revolution of sound in the airwaves, inspired by Tim Chaney (Timhobo A.K.A Monkeywrench), and various other talented music-lovers in his vicinity. The result was an eclectic blend of funk, hip-hop, and riot-inciting gypsie jazz-punk, with a softer bossanova dancy side in the mix at times. At the time of birth, Kyle Asfahl was around and more than ready to utilize his skills and talents for their humble cause, being the endless dissemination of freedom and truth of expression through music and any other form of art at your fingertips.
