About Me

Well my name is Natasha Kamilia Aljabi and I'm from the Utopian Sunny San Diego California. I am twenty-one years old and a student at the University of Louisville. At this point your probably thinking, why would anyone move away from paradise to the farm lands. Well here's my deal...... I am also a cheerleader for the 12 time college national champion cheer team. It's my fourth year on the coed team and I have loved every minute of my student athlete career. Moving on, I was born and raised into the best family a person could ask for. I have amazing parents who love and support every step I make in life, a twin sister who is my best friend in the whole world, and a younger brother who I would do anything for. So not only am I cheering for a wonderful university and have the best family ever, I am engaged to a man that means the world to me. His name is Nathan Ramsey and he's a Pharmacy Student at the University of Oklahoma, Boomer Sooner Baby! We've been together for almost 3 years. He has been my rock and my guardian angel and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him! I am proud to say that I have the best loyal friends ever who I could not live without. So I know it sounds like I have a pretty perfect life, but there are some strings attached. Three years ago I was diagnosed with cancer. I found out that I had Hodgkin's Lymphoma and needed to have chemotherapy and radiation therapy immediately. Treatment lasted for six months, causing me to loose all of my hair three weeks into chemo. It was the hardest thing I have and will ever experience in life. In mid March 2006, I finished treatment and entered remission for the next five years. The day my doctor said that I was cancer free was the happiest day of my life. I was so excited for my life to go back to normal and that's exactly what happened. I thought everything was fine until Dec 2006, my Doctor called to inform me of the return of my cancer. I was so depressed and didn't know what do with my life. Chemo was horrible and I told myself that I would never put myself through that again. To make a long story short, the doctors were able to operate and take out the tumor. Yes ladies and gentlemen, I kicked cancers ass twice! Overall, I am thankful for all the wonderful people in my life and all the wonderful opportunities that comes my way. I am very grateful for my life and I it owe all to GOD!!!
