K.Jay’s BiographyK.Jay’s real name is Keisha John, she started a musical journey in 1993 in a group called Debonair (which included Natalie Stewart from Floetry). In 2000 she formed a duo by the name of Divine Soul, ( male singer/song writer Kadean Mayers). As Divine Soul, they went onto perform alongside the likes of The Roots, Estelle, Roachford, Ty and Lyric L, performing at Black Lily at Cargo, Ten Rooms and Luton University to name a few. Whilst being a part of Divine Soul, K.Jay did backing vocals for Natalie Williams and Lyric L at venues such as Shepherds Empire, the Half Moon in Cork Ireland, Stratford Circus, Jazz Café and Versace’s private party. K.Jay also records vocals on Lyric L’s soon to be released album on a MJ Coles produced song “I Like Youâ€.
2005 sees K.Jay working on a solo album with producers such as Richard Edwards, Sticky, Dozeguyz, and Mikis.
