Donjon Doxy play music that lives and breaths deep under the mountains, and all of you, living, breathing, talking, thinking, feeling beings, be it a tree or a mouse or a little tiny grasshopper, or you yourself sitting there reading this, hear, is the slight sounds peering out of the small cracks in the foundations of the earth, bringing the distinctive mellow, delicate, yet hard sound of Donjon Doxy to your ears, and the question with it; what does it really sound like down there?
Holding screams in one hand, and soft dreamy hymns in the other, Donjon Doxy can perhaps scare and befriend you at the same time. Through an increasing number of concerts Donjon Doxy has done alot of screaming, and they would like to think, a fair amount of befriending.
The guys get inspiration from bands like Can, Pixies, Radiohead, Blood Brothers, Blonde Redhead and Deerhunter, without interfering with developing their own sound.
