Where's the Go Vegan video??
I could put a video back up here of the horrific conditions that billions of slaughter animals, dairy cows, and egg laying hens have to endure on a daily basis here in the the good ol' U.S. of A. I could have you visit my page and turn the video off because you don't want to see just how violent the conditions of these factory farms really are. Maybe you'd be ignorant enough to immediately assert that anything that supports vegetarianism/veganism is associated with PETA or hippies and you wouldn't even try to understand it's philosophy, it's always easier to be a critic when you don't know what's going on. Maybe you'd try to defend yourself by saying something like "we're supposed to eat meat", "they're animals", "you need meat to be healthy", or maybe even something as weak as "I just can't do it" so you could eat your hamburger tonight, or your eggs and milk tomorrow morning without the guilt that you are responsible for the violence; that you might actually be the reason this abuse exists. I could post the video and maybe you'd even watch it. Maybe you'd think about it, stir your emotions a little, and then do nothing because you feel like you did your part by taking some huge effort to watch the video and put yourself through some sort of strain to take even a glimpse at the grotesque reality you saw from your screen. Luckily these farms are behind walls so that you don't have to see the animal that was abused and died for your 99 cent cheeseburger. Must be nice to be that apathetic.
I no longer have a video of these farms because you can't just see something to understand. You need to think about it. If you still don't care, you can tell me I'm whining, or a hippie, or gay, or whatever you'd like to make yourself feel better about what you do.
If you're curious at all or want to see what you're letting happen when you eat meat here's a link to the video: but hey, maybe you're fine with apathy for another day right? Over a million animals will be dead by the end of it. Have a nice meal.
