About Me

OK - so there's finally been a revamp. About me? I work hard and play harder. I have a very low boredom threshold. I have a dirty laugh. I like swearing, in fact I like most things that are bad for me. I talk in my sleep. I suffer from pedestrian rage. And supermarket rage. I hate stupidity and ignorance. I like walking. I'm obsessed with abandoned tube stations. I can't stand tea. I love my life and the people in it.And remember kids, if in doubt, go to the pub.

Myspace Layouts by Pimp-My-Profile.com

Now MySpace, why is there no Open University option? You're making it very hard to show off about my Masters. That's two degrees people, two! Not one, like the schools bit says. Two! Got it?

My Interests

Vodka, music, gigs, dancing, boys, Arsenal, books, movies, tattoos, piercings, causing trouble, good cocktails, laughing, Rhinos, beer and anything associated with fun times!

Music:

I like all sorts of things! Current favourites are KUBB, Hard-Fi, The Arcade Fire, Muse, Foo Fighters, The Killers and The Kaiser Chiefs. Oh, and the new one from "My Chemical Romance" is pretty good too. In fact, if it's indie, alternative or vaguely rock, the chances are I'll like it. Long standing favourites include Faith No More, Pearl Jam and the old Seattle grunge scene. Oh and I have a dark, evil pop music secret - the return of the mighty Take That was a highlight of 2006! Michael Jackson in his Bad days - cheesy 80s pop at it's best!

Movies:

Give me a high body count and lots of explosions, none of this girly wimpy rom-com rubbish thanks! Oh and anything scary - preferably so scary it makes me hide behind the sofa and sleep with the lights on.

Television:

CSI (Vegas, Miami, New York - I love all of them), 24 (which I avoided for ages because I knew I'd get hooked and I was right). Current obsession is Prison Break (hello Wentworth Miller - Monday night totty). Also a fan of Black Books and Spaced. And you can't go wrong with childhood faves like the A-Team and Knight Rider...

Books:

Anything by Christopher Brookmyre - haven't heard of him? I'll lend you one, darkly entertaining. All of Lee Child's books (is it possible to have a crush on a character in a book?). We Need to Talk About Kevin (brave, gripping and thought provoking). The Kite Runner is an absolute gem - one of the best books ever. In fact, I'll read just about anything...
