At the end of each day my hands depict an art canvas of a child, stained with an assortment of blue, pink, purple, green, red, orange, and even black shades. The vibrancy of the blend of colors varies from day to day. I attempt to rub the colors off, but they just become faint and do not completely disappear. As the light hits my hands a luminous iridescent shimmer glows over them, but those random smudges of black still remain. I look at my hands and I do not just see them as soiled and dirtied with random colors, but as a piece of artwork that I produce daily, a piece of work that depicts my life. I have acknowledged that I have the power to transform the colors of bronze to gold and to add beauty to something bland not only to the features on a face of a being, but to the features of my life and the face of the world. My hands resemble my life now smeared with vibrant colors and radiance, of course the smudges of black will always remain. I have realized that life will always have its hardships, obstacles, and its moments of darkness. I cannot conceal my mistakes, but I can learn from them to enhance my life and seek a vibrant world of color -LV
I have a makeup artistry diploma from Blanche Macdonald Centre, Vancouver BC. I am involved with independent movies, photo shoots with talented local photographers, cosmetic retailing and fashion shows on occasion. As a MAC makeup artist I'm working on establishing myself as a new professional makeup artist in the Seattle area, specializing in all aspects of makeup creativity.
The Lord has truly blessed me with everything that has crossed my life so far. I cannot thank him enough for all the things he has done for me. Without him I am nothing but with him I am everything.
