I am here for Dating, Friends and Networking

About Me

i like: contemplating my childhood dream of living one day beside a stream in the woods. . . . hot yoga, indoor climbing, hikes anywhere i can get company to travel, backcountry camping on the grand canyon's north rim, a sunny saturday at the waverly farmers' market, hopping on my bike and riding and riding along the NCR trail, the hirshorn in dc, bookstores, poetry, lit. . . the painting or drawing or printmaking studio, the darkroom, coffee shops for sitting reading on a quiet weekend afternoon, road trips, cooking for friends, indie films, live music, etc.i long to jump in the car and explore every little town in road-trippable distance. i want to drive across the country . . . all the way . . . and my latest aspiration is to visit every national park before i die!i'm working on finding a balance between making what i want happen and letting what needs to happen be. . . .a href="http://www.pimp-my-profile.com/"

I'd like to meet:

folks who are up for exploring. ANYONE WILLING TO SPEND A DAY HIKING, especially if you're willing to travel to do it! people passionate about improving public education, who work hard on behalf of kids and who don't think i'm crazy for spending my spring break on the appalachian trail with a dozen fourteen year olds in the snow!BONUSES: big vocabularies, vegetarians and farmers' market aficionados, artists/writers/those who appreciate artists and writers, AT hikers and anti-war protesters. . . . i'd also love to reconnect myself with all of the amazing people i've known over the years but have been missing because i've been too hectic to slow down and write or call. . .
