Actorvist

Hey WorldIt's Karen LaVern. I am an "actorvist". I just coined the phrase so Paris if I hear you say it, I want my royalties. Actor+Activist=Actorvist. I believe that celebrities have become living idols for most of society. Unfourtunatly most people dont have anything between their ears, including the celebrities they worship. The world is going to shits and we are concerned with the most idiotic things. The baby boomers and the tweeners dont have a clue (Not all, but most). It's up to those of us who can read between the lines to tell the story to the rest of the world. If we dont take a stand soon, one day we will be paying for Air! Alright I've preached enough:) I just hate to see so much hatred and stupidity from a generation that has soooo much to give. In these times Art doesnt imitate Life, Life imitates Art. Most of the things we do and say derive from a movie, video, book, ect. As an actor I try to pick roles that have substance. ( Maybe thats why I have only done indie films) Dont get me wrong I have fun, I party. I just realize that there is more to life than money, clothes, and bro's. Ohh yeah I am a lyricist as well.
