About Me

I’d like to claim that sharing a birth date with Charlie Parker was my biggest inspiration for becoming a musician, but unfortunately it is only a cool coincidence. I began playing guitar in high school, and after graduation landed a gig in an amusement park in Upstate New York. It was your typical “All American” show with silk shirts and sequined vests galore. Since then my musical palette has grown in many ways. I’ve played everything from jazz-fusion, country, rock/pop, oldies, funk, and big band, to theater shows and orchestral pieces. Adding the bass and violin to my arsenal has opened my opportunities and grown my musicianship in more ways that I could have imagined.
I’m available for live performance or studio session work, video/film scoring, performance consulting, and private lessons.
Currently, in addition to composing and recording, I am playing violin with the Peoria Pops Orchestra and Bass with The Conundrum.
