Jerry Falwell Destroyed Earth is coming to an end. Try to make it to the last one or two shows if you can :) I sure would lavish the love. It's been a good time. So thanks.
JFDE was born out of confusion some time in 2006. She plays guitar (often loudly), all types of keyboards and occasionally tambourine/harmonica/recorder/euphonium - but never at the same time. In the last few years she has played alongside many people far more talented and far nicer than herself: I Love You Avalanche (USA), Bridget Martin (USA), Novi Split (USA), The Rational Academy (Bris), MajorMajor, Popolice, Sly Hats, Pikelet, Benjamin Thompson (Bris), Shiver Like Timber (Bris), Twin Vickers, Motor Vehicle Sundown, Erase Errata (USA) + Macromantics + I Heart Hiroshima (Ladyfest Brisbane 2006), just to name a few. She mostly plays music so that she can have the opportunity to spend time with people far more talented and far nicer than herself.
In the summer of 2007 (not to be confused with coke's ad campaign for the 'Summer of Us') she toured up the East Coast with gorgeous friend Bridget Martin. It was poetic. Mostly it was just really hot. Her guitar got stolen but then she got it back. She misses Newcastle and all the friendly lesbians there and so yes, she will be back soon.
Recordings are a bit of an enigma at the moment. You can find her on the Ladyfest compilation CD as well as a split EP recorded with Bridget Martin. Unfortunately though, the latter is probably not worth mentioning as they are all sold out. But you should know that they had pretty hand-sewn covers with radical artwork from both girls. And a totally awesome, totally illegal cover of Summer Rain. PROPER RECORD COMING SOON - PROMISE!
She would like you to know that she loves you all even though the most used word in her vocabulary is 'hate'.
