WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF THE BOOMERANG?
Pretentious beatwork-a-holic Jordy Timmermans has been contaminating his broken dancemusic with dramatic scores and bombastic compositions, creating a ruff ‘n tuff theatre of energetic breaks and suggestive melodies. Inspired by jungle, jazz, techno and classical, 'Benefit of the Boomerang' wants to turn up the intensity of dancemusic to level eleven, by molesting melody and rythm to fit the demented demand.
The result is a rythmic conspiracy, seeking the boundries of danceability, without using wet distortion to compensate the lack of talent. Polkafunk, pornelectro, ravecandy and pocketcore, this music is like an openheart operation at thirteen degrees Kelvin: pretty cool.
Music is like sound, but then slightly different.

“Benefit of the Boomerang is an electronic music producer, who really
likes beats, which is probably the reason why there’s such an awful lot
of those in BotB’s tracks. But it makes it very upbeat, I guess.â€
- Dick Smucky
“It sounds like circuscat katanacore bonanza.â€
- J.G.H Willscrotum
“Very fast and loud shit, so you can’t really make out if it’s any good
from a musical point of view, but that’s the best thing about breakcore.â€
- Leena ‘The Brute’ Forshkin
When I listen to BotB I hear Satan speaking.
- Mr Mark Dollin
"I know that some people consider BotB to be a cheap rythm trick for the ear and mind, solely created to perform pseudo-core livesets with just slight melodic content and pretentious digital drumprogramming, but those people forget that this is drugmusic and it is meant to make you feel fucked up. Besides, four-to-the-floor beats are so 2006."
- The Porngroove Collective
“I do not like electronic music and I absolutely detest all breakcore,
but Benefit of the Boomerang is so hot you can cook a hog’s ass with
a spoon full. Absolutely Smegmatronic!â€
- Bill Splate
