I'd like to meet:
down to earth, real people, compu-pals (online penpals). I have some real friends online, I would like more. I have met some of them. Doesn't happen much. Most of the traits I look for in a mate are the same as those I look for in a friend.
As far as the whole dating thing? Well, I'm not a "hook up," "booty call," etc.Okay, now that THOSE people are gone...I'm attracted to MEN under 40 who have a sense of confidence and knowledge of who they are and a definite direction of where they're headed. He must also understand the concept of friendship first--if we can't honestly talk and laugh and share as people, we're wasting our time here. He must understand my independence as well as my need to be an ally to him. I believe in backing up the people I care about. He must respect my parenthood, and like kids. Men --people-- like this usually don't have time for BS or games, so they are, unfortunately, rare. I am an active person, so I am attracted to someone athletically or muscularly built--someone to hang with me. Expressive eyes mean the world to me since men are not communicators by nature, and if they're blue, I melt a bit.
