As a child I lived around the world absorbing cultures, learning about the Earth, and becoming inspired by life. I was born in Rieti, Italy, north of Rome to American ex-pats. My family lived in Cannes-Sur-Mer, France while I was young and my first word, indicative perhaps of the Leo's lust for life, was "encore" - "more". We moved frequently, from France back to Italy, then to Dallas, Texas, then Long Island, New York, then Houston, Texas. At the age of eight my parents relocated our family to Singapore, The Lion City, where I spent the most formative and uninterrupted years of my life. Once I discovered philosophy, religion, poetry, and music, my life was transformed from a geographic journey to an inward one, an exploration of consciousness, the intellect, and the soul.
