Jess

About Me

Imbued with a passion for life and a love of people, Jess incorporates feminine intuition and spirituality into every song she writes. Her confessional style and affinity for storytelling contribute an earthy vibe to delicate pop vocals and simply catchy melodies.Jess got her start singing and touring regionally with a teen girls' group at the early age of 13; her first experience with songwriting was at the request of fingerstyle guitarist and performer, John Wynn. She immediately fell in love with the incorporation of message and music. Through her work with Dee Ann Nelson and Forte Vocal Production Studios, she is a featured solo vocalist on the Christmas album, "Frost," has been a finalist in the national talent show, "That's Entertainment," and MB Expo, and is affiliated with me'ere agency, Exxcel Model and Talent. In 2004 she moved from small town Van Alstyne, TX to Nashville to attend Belmont University and to continue working on her craft. I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)

Always Daddy’s Girl

Shame, Shame

As the title states, I blame only myself for my absence from this forum. It used to be one of my dearest habits and now has been relegated to the back burner. There are several reasons, among which re...

My, how life changes in the gaps between entries. It is a testament to God's unpredictable plan and the fluid nature of life when I read backward over the course of this blog. Where updating used to b...

So yes, it has been a while since I posted. I used to lambast those that acted as I do, but now I've joined the ranks as the tardy updater. My apologies to the five of you who actually read what I hav...

In the Drama Club

I've come to a deep and meaningful realization:  I hate the peanut butter-jelly combination that comes premixed in a jar.  It's unnatural. I'd rather mix my own peanut butter and jelly, than...
