I like laid-back, spoken word-ish rap like Common or Mos Def. And local artists like Archie the Messenger or Talem Acey.As far as jazz, Boney James (he is on point!!! I saw him in concert in '02 when his CD "Ride" was out, 4play, Paul Taylor, Bob James, and many others.

I like to read books before they hit the theater, so I read the "Da Vinci Code". It was a pretty remarkable book. Very interesting.
