I’m basically in a rut. I’m leaving Newcastle in January and I’m moving to Melbourne. I’m terrified, but I’m looking forward to it a little. At least, until I’m secured a place at Vic Uni. I’ve no idea what’ll happen if I don’t get in, but whatever. So back to the rut… I’m in a constant state of nostalgia yet at the same time I have this weird futurism thing going on. It’s not fun, let me tell you. I feel pretty terrible generally and I have this weird need as of late to constantly be eating. It’s seriously not good for my health because I barely exercise and by barely I pretty much mean never. I should get onto that. I’m ok for now but if I keep living like this I’m going to end up like Elvis Presley. I solemnly swear I’m never touching a Fool’s Gold sandwich in my life. Oh my god, disgusting!
There aren’t many things I know. I’m one of those people who knows what they don’t know, you know? I can recognise and name quite a few dog breeds. I know that planetariums are awesome. Over time I’ve realised how sadly ignorant I am, but I deal with it like a true INTJ. Actually, I don’t know much about INTJs at all, except some test reckons I am one and I never disagree with those tests. My mum loves them, it’s funny. She recently got a book on “Emotional vampiresâ€.
I also know that Vandemonia is not a term for the panic created by the presence of vampires.
If we ever meet, I think you and I should have a cup of tea and play euchre. I won’t mind if you win, as long as you agree to watch Hedwig with me.
I mostly have sad dreams. It makes me sad. Dreams full of futurism and nostalgia. I also love tea but I should probably drink less than I do because I drink it by the barrel-full. Ask Jon, he knows.
I’ve seen the sun set over the land and the ocean, but I’ve never seen the sun rise (ever!) so I want to do that some time. I wish I were a waterbear, then I'd be comfortable anywhere.
