wow... well, first off, just to clear first time judgements that i almost always get, i'm not hispanic. i grew up in the heart of the reservation of nm, and yes, those were the best years of my life growing up with my cousins. i can speak my native language, however, i haven't spoken that tongue in over 2 years, nonetheless, i understand more than i can speak it. i'm notorious for my nomadic lifestyle, and recently to add to that, i've chosen to work in a position which requires me to travel quite a bit, and so far, i love what i do. the year of '07 was by far an amazing year as i had anticipated and am hoping for '08 to be just as great if not better, and this time around, i plan to accomplish so much more. near future endeavors include my need to try new things.... even if i don't have a chance to knock something off my list, there's always next year :) ... numero uno includes reinventing myself (mentally & physically) --- main priority... 2: i'd love to get into pilates reformer training... 3: hot yoga... 4: taking on a watersport of some sort during the summer whether it be waterskiing, riding on jet skis, wakeboarding, whitewater rafting (spring), kayaking or canoeing... 5: taking a road trip somewhere i've never been (which doesn't include work)... 6: to finally take that trip to hawaii that manda and i have been talking about for over a year... 7: to finally commit to a cell phone company by then end of february at the latest :P ... 8: get over my fear of motorcycles and ride as i hold tight to my friend... 9: possibly learn to ride on my own and look into a future purchase of my own bike?... 10: learn spanish (i need to so i wouldn't have to avoid those awkward moments when people think i'm capable of translating)... 11: to be outdoors much more often to get that perfect tan :) only because mom has pointed out that i've grown too pale... 12: i have a friend willing to give me tennis lessons :) that'll be fun... 13: i want to go horseback riding more often since i haven't done that in years... 14: i'm hoping that i can get a team together for sand volleyball, we'll see though... but you have no idea how much this cold weather is getting me down and i'm so ready for spring and summer!!! i can't wait!!
but as far as the past and present, my family is the best in the world! i love them! so yes, i relish every minute i spend with them. oh! did i mention that i have the most awesome nephews in the entire world? yes! ethan is 2 and asher who is almost a week old, they're the ultimate duo of kewlness and will make the world oh so jealous, so watch out! let's see... i have some pretty amazing friends who are always there when i need them and vice versa... and while even though i'm single... all i can say is that at this point, there is someone who has stolen my heart, someone i feel i can talk to about anything, someone i flirt with endlessly, the best thing is that he is someone who ultimately makes me laugh... and yes, he is most definitely hott damn sexy as hell!! ;)
