TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH MY WIFE... SHE IS THE BESTEST!
Anyhow, I'm just a friendly cool dude ok maybe 'dude' is aging myself a little but I havent quite picked up on all the new cool teen slang. I learned all of my cool slang back in the day (Southern Cal). Some of those were: radical or rad-man, tubular, awesome, stoner, dude, and when mom & dad werent listening we used BITCHEN MAN! It sure is funny how 'man' found its way to the end of our slang and sentences. Hmmm, thats funny I havent heard some of those terms since the movie 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High'.

I really enjoy camping with my family and friends, Friday night happy hours, spending quiet time with my wife, ah... this is a little hard as teens still live in the house :) Ha! But hey, they are the coolest teens around what can I say, theyre mine and I love them all, it's just their slang is a generation out of whack! Maybe we're a little on the traditionalist side from the main stream world as we still have family dinners at the table!

I also enjoy fine specialty coffees, it's become my latest hobby. You're probably saying to yourself, 'coffee a hobby' WTF... I'm not kidding, I'll be honest with you... I'm very spoiled on quality coffees from around the world that I roast right at home.

I was never in the US Forces but working for the US Army has been rewarding, although it’s a lot of hard work!

R2-D2 is my NEIGHBOR... too cool, see below.

I'm in Iraq now... all is well and very busy, so much to do. I do have a special neighbor that wakes me up now and then, but it's the best neighbor EVAAR! It's called The C-RAM (counter-rockets, artillery and mortars) version of the Phalanx is designed to protect large bases from mortar and rocket attack. The original Phalanx was a 20mm cannon designed to defend American warships against anti-ship missiles. Phalanx does this by using a radar that immediately starts firing at any incoming missile it detects.

When these radars detect incoming fire, C-RAM points toward the incoming objects and prepares to fire at anything that comes within range of its cannon. C-RAM uses high explosive shells, that detonate near the target, spraying it with fragments. The original Phalanx used depleted uranium shells, to slice through incoming missiles. Phalanx fires shells at the rate of 75 per second. Another advantage of C-RAM, is that it makes a distinctive noise when firing, warning people nearby that a mortar or rocket attack is underway, giving people an opportunity to duck inside if they are out and about. Ya, I'll say distinctively LOUD! Ha.

Anyhow... there is a lot of information on the web about the C-RAM. You can go to this site for more info. Also, check out some of my videos of the C-RAM in action, again pulled off the web... I didn't take these videos. But you can clearly see why it's a welcomed neighbor.
