About Me

Matthew Senzatimore - composer, drummer, multi-instrumentalist.I guess I became a musician the first time I took out my mom's pots and pans and set them up on the floor like a drumset. I also used to love to play the color note organ we had in our living room. My first formal training was on Saxophone in 4th grade but then I switched to trumpet the following year. I continued to play trumpet through high school but when I was 13 I got my first drumset and drumming quickly became my new passion. I entered SUNY New Paltz as a performance major with a concentration in Jazz Studies. I also took several music theory classes including Orchestration and Counterpoint. During these years I started to become fascinated with putting notes all over manuscript paper. I still have this disease till this day. I write compositions of various styles and would love to do more film/T.V. scoring. Timmy Sutton and I recently wrote and recorded a dozen orginal songs and 2 cover songs for an upcoming sketch comedy DVD release. We are planning on working with the comedy troop again in the future and will hopefully be their in-house musicans/composers. Know any Indie film makers who need original music? Send them my way. My past projects include Lost In The Sauce, Hector's Nightmare and Wooden Rope. My current project is Ratboy - myspace.com/Ratboy I have also collaborated and performed with several dance companies and I am planning on working with The Octavia Cup and choreographer Georgina Aragon for a performance this summer at The Byrdcliffe Theatre. Now for the name dropping. Some notables I have performed with: Bob Dorough, creator of School House Rock, Roswell Rudd - Jazz trombonist, Buddy Cage - pedal steel for countless bands, Jay Anderson - bassist for Joe Sample, Martin Dosh, Vinnie Martucci from The Dolphins (not the football team) and Ed Begley Jr.. Ok, the last one is not real but I wish it was.click here

It's a bad look, trust me.

If you are a member of the male species, don't wear sandals. Nobody wants to see your feet. Put some sneakers on.If it's cold enough to wear socks with your sandals, just put some smeakers on.
