I wish I could give my kind visitors some love. Some wisdom. Inspiration. Not that I'm retentive; just tired, writing and promoting my books, columns, etc.I've been a reporter, author of 22 potboiler novels,librarian, government press officer and editor, magazine editor, book editor, and author of seven nonfiction books.Grew up in White Plains, N.Y., went to NY State Universities (Albany, Binghamton), U. Iowa Graduate Writers Workshop (studied under Philip Roth), and Columbia University School of Library Service.Married to a fabulous artist; have two stellar daughters by a previous marriage.In "my pics" I'm showing a few posey mug shots.
