JAM SANDWICH

Putting the funk in 21st Century Blues

About Me

The duality of Jam Sandwich is is more than just "very interesting".
"Being both a cover band and an original band, has opened up unique oppurtunities for us", says bassist Tommy Tucker,
Jam Sandwich is an interesting mix of talent. Comprised of four of the music industry's finest professionals. The members of Jam Sandwich are highly skilled producers, engineers, arrangers, songwriters, musicians, etc..... Expect nothing less than pure professionalism from this fabulous quartet.
Jam Sandwich is also VERY AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION oriented. The boys in the band believe, "If you're sittin' still, we're not doing our job". There are very FEW bands that can command an audience like Jam Sandwich. More than that, no matter if they are preforming covers or their originals. Jam Sandwich transcends the classic "barriers" of rock, blues, country, etc. into an un-imaginable orgasm of sound. You owe to yourself to give them a listen.
That is why this band is Funk, Gospel, R&B, Rock, Country, Blues, Jazz and everything in between. You can't expect just any band to have THAT wide of a song list and perform EVERY ONE OF THEM GREAT. You ONLY get that from THE seasoned, veteran, professionals in Jam Sandwich.
Of course, if you're curious about BOOKING JAM SANDWICH - Please go to their production company (3 BROWN MONKEES) myspace. It is the first one in their "TOP FRIENDS".

And now, a word from our sponsor . . . . .

Hello,

What can I say to describe, a "more than fabulous" music group? We here at 3 Brown Monkeys Prod. have guidelines for signing our talent that are particular. Jam Sandwich is more than an interesting mix of Funk, Rock, Blues, Jazz, & Improvisation. Whether presenting themselves as a 3, 4 or 5 piece group. In the live arena Jam Sandwich is more than VERY professional. The band has a way of conveying the energy of an arena rock band while still remaining musically masterful as any jazz group. All this, and they retain a sense of humor that is delightful w/out being "clowny".

While the demos of their performances (in the music box) don't say it quite right yet. This bands' LIVE sound is one POWERFUL force. With originals that stick in your head w/ out being "overly poppy". Truly amazing.

Please, give this band a chance at your local watering hole as they grow from obscurity to cult favorites. To not see & hear this band live is a true mistake. Once you catch their show, you will wonder why you "have never happened upon them before?".

Thanks for your time, Steve Silver CEO 3 Brown Monkeys Prod.

P.S. - Oh yeah, Tommy (the bass player) has asked me to interject that, "the band also plays plenty of covers in a club environment".

Influences: Among the many great artists out there some of them that influence Jam Sandwich are: Freddy King, Miles Davis, Prof. Long Hair, Dr. John, Little Feat, Neville Bros., Duke Ellington, Dave Gruisin, Stevie Wonder, The Band, Muddy Waters, B.B. King etc.
Sounds Like:
Imagine Little Feat, Tower of Power, The Allman Bros., Billy Preston & B.B. King all had an orgy. And from that orgy they had a baby and named it Jam Sandwich.

Working on original material

Not much to say - working on music. As we finish stuff it will appear, in part, on the page.
