Singer, songwriter, composer Alyssa Galarza currently putting the finishing touches on her debut album “Alyssa has arrived” This Atlanta Vocalist was raised in an environment where music and singing without notice of genre boundaries was a daily feature. She has a positive image and attitude. Alyssa is genuine and approachable. Firm environmental and animal rights activist, she wants to speak for what cannot speak for itself. When asked about working in the studio and writing as well as recording she replied “I understand I’m new to the music world, but I’ve been preparing for this moment for a long time. I’m excited to find my place amongst composers I look to and have been inspired by. Favorite contemporary artists that are in high rotation would include Mariah Carey, Ne-yo, and Nas. Others admired would be Babyface, Sade, Janet Jackson and Anita Baker.” Growing up with little media influence and having instilled that education is paramount, encouraged her writing from within. On family, “I love family and family is a big deal to me. Growing up with a younger brother and sister and an older sister, I just wanted to get out and listen and learn all there was to this fascination I had with music. I was always participating in school musicals, and active in chorus classes and choir. I absolutely adore every aspect of every genre of music and try to take something from every thing that graces my ears.” When asked about her music, “I try to make fun music and music that you can relate to; hopefully that’s what people will respond to.” When asked what we can expect from her music, “So far we have some slow jams, a little pop and a bit of rock, the albums really for everyone.” When asked what does this album mean for you,” This represents what I’ve always wanted to do and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it!” Say’s the down to earth Atlanta vocalist. ____________________________________________________________ _______
