About Me

I'm a stay at home Mom of two very fun-loving, spirited boys. I also have an adorable nephew who is the apple of my eye. My husband Brian and I have been together since 1992. In 1994 I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Teaching at Virginia Commonwealth University. I went on to teach third grade at our local elementary school for seven years before deciding to raise my kids full time. It's been quite the adventure!

My Interests

Music, reading, e-mailing, vacationing with the family, baking, checking out my favorite gossip blogs, tattoos, art, broadening my horizons, shopping, talking with my girls from NC, eating out, soft sheets, my iPod, people who aren't fake, quiet time with the husband, kidless meals with sister, hot peppermint mochas, planning my next visit with the guys from incubus, and of course hanging out with my two boys at home or at the park. Wish I had time to add cooking and cleaning to that list...

I'd like to meet:

Like minded chicks who don't wear mom jeans or attend prayer groups, Brandon Boyd and Mike Einziger (again), Edward Van Halen, Bono, Ellen Degeneres, Anthony Keidis, and my MySpace friends who I've never seen in person...

Music:

Incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, The Police, Audioslave, Soundgarden, Beastie Boys, Steve Miller Band, Jack Johnson, Aqualung, Allman Brothers, U2, Stone Temple Pilots, old school Van Halen, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Missy Elliott, George Winston, Vince Guaraldi, and many more. I love all sorts of music- except for country...Get Your Own! | View Slideshow
