About Me

I have many interests that I try to pursue to various degrees. I love hiking, enjoying the natural beauty of the earth, and the exercise that comes with it. There is a certain peace of mind that I find when I immerse myself in a natural setting. I love the beach and the ocean. Guam is blessed with many beautiful beaches to hang out on. I think it is very important to respect the ocean, it is vast and will kill you if you are not careful. I like playing sports, especially soccer! Living on Guam has given me a unique oppurtunity to represent my island as a member of the Guam National Soccer Team. This means I get to travel to various countries in Asia (for free!) and play the sport I haved loved since I was 5 years old. So far I have been to Japan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Phillipines, Macao, Korea, Saipan, and Bangladesh. I would like to think that visiting these countries has broadened my perspective and I hope that playing soccer will take me to even more places. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, going to bars, partying, making friends, watching movies, listening to music, playing video games, reading books, cliff jumping, rock climbing, juggling a soccer ball with friends, climbing trees, sleeping in, eating junk food, watching live bands, driving cars, and watching animal planet.

My Interests

I think I already summed it up in the "about me" section.

I'd like to meet:

Any of my friends from the past or present. Through myspace I hope to connect with many people that I used to go to school, play sports, or just hang out with.

Music:

Anything that doesn't suck. In general I listen to rock music, but I try to appreciate all genres of music. A good song is a good song, even if it is country or techno. I don't really care for most of the shallow, useless rap and pop music they play on the radio. Which sucks because I don't have a cd or mp3 player in my car.

Movies:

Action movies! Make it blow up with bullets flying in every direction while people are jamming it out in hand-to-hand combat *TO THE DEATH* and at the very least I will be amused.

Television:

Most of it is crap. Especially when broadcasted by Marianas Cable Vision. But Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Dog the Bounty Hunter, and Blind Date are some of my favorites. Live sports and the programs on the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, and TLC are also good.

Books:

The surgeon general warns, "Reading makes you smarter, don't read if you want to be an illiterate dumbass." I'll read whatever comes my way. Sometimes I get stuck reading those never ending fantasy series. It gets out of control when you reach book 6 and you are only half-way through. I know, I know, I'm a dork, sorry'ah.

Heroes:

There are too many to list in a little box. I greatly admire people who put there lives on the line for others and also people who are dedicated to helping those who are in need.

Good friends

Perhaps the greatest blessing that I have always had in my life are good friends.  Without them I would certainly be lost, especially now that I am estranged from my family.  Indeed, on an i...

Bangladesh

I'm back, made it in one whole piece, no worries.  This last trip to Bangladesh was unlike any of the other ones we've made so far.  It took us around 24 hours of flights and airport layover...
