Hello, I'm Scott and I'm a trumpet player from Cleveland, OH. I received my Bachelors in Music Performance at Cleveland State University in 2006. Being a musician has led me all over the US and Canada performing in venues ranging from the greasy bars of west Cleveland to the prestigious Heinz Hall in Pittsburg, PA. So far I have played lead trumpet for the bands of Aretha Franklin, the Temptations, and Guy Lombardo’s Royal Canadians. I’ve also played with some great Cleveland bands like; Sammy DeLeon y su Orquestra, The Jazz Heritage Orchestra, and Ernie Krivda and the Fat Tuesday Big Band. Currently, I am perusing a Masters degree in Jazz Performance and Pedagogy at the University of Colorado-Boulder where I study with jazz great, Brad Goode, and play lead trumpet in the Jazz Ensemble I. Being in this group has led me to meet and/or perform with great artists like Bobby Shew, Snooky Young, Arturo Sandoval, Carl Saunders, Clay Jenkins, John Fedchock, and Bob Mintzer.
