In other news...
Life's most important lessons are the ones that we learn from. You know the ones that hurt to learn along the way but when it is all said and done; we somehow became the people we always wanted to be and looked up to... if we did it right. I have learned recently that I can't always escape to a world of pen and paper... sometimes it's better to just give someone a hug.
I'm pretty happy of the progress I'm making. No I may not have won the lottery or wrote a best seller, I may not have a hit album or made forbe's 100... but I can tell you that I have never been happier. My family is finally what is most important to me... and that feels RIGHT. Sometimes the road less traveled isn't the smoothest, but when you have God on your side and a good heart even the most rocky path has it's blessings.
