About Me


One Hustle Records is a record label in Zurich. Founded in the summer of 2007, One Hustle Crew has recorded a compilation album called “The New Faces Of Switzerland” set for release in February 2008.
With their creative style, conscious lyrics and infectious beats, the One Hustle Crew brings up different themes of today’s reality and gives you their stories and life experiences from their point of view, which gives their new album “The New Faces Of Switzerland” a unique and fresh sound.
The name of the compilation may sound funny, but guests on the album include: 50 cent, Chamillionaire, Talib Kweli, Obie Trice, Naz B, Arisco, Derek, Jozzy and Saymo-K and Quan.
The One Hustle Crew consists of 6 members living in the Zurich region: Swissivory, the producer (Switzerland-Ivory Coast), underground emcee B. Stone (Ghana), conscious lyricist Tru Story (Switzerland-Senegal-Algeria), rapper/Reggae artist Farmer (Trinidad) and R&B sensation Myr.I.Am (Italy-Tunisia). DJ Votka from Olten completes the roster as the official One Hustle Records DJ.
And if that was not enough for a debut, the first single “Like That” by B.Stone Ft. Swissivory will be the first Swiss group featured on this month’s “Southern Smoke” Mixtape by DJ Smallz. The music video for “Like That” is set to hit the air in February. You can get the first copies of the CD at the One Hustle Release party in the Fame Disco in Zurich on February 2nd, 2008.

Der Name der Kompilation kann merkwürdig klingen, aber die Gäste auf dem Album sind selbsterklärend: Shoutouts von 50 Cent, Chamillionaire, Talib Kweli, Obie Trice und Quan. Featurings mit Naz B, Arisco, Derek, Jozzy und Saymo-K.
One Hustle besteht aus 6 Mitgliedern die in der Region Zürich leben: Swissivory, Produzent (Schweiz-Elfenbein Küste), Underground Emcee B. Stone (Ghana), conscious Lyricist Tru Story (Schweiz-Senegal-Algerien), Rapper/Reggaekünstler Farmer (Trinidad) und R&B Sensation Myr.I.Am (Italien-Tunesien). DJ Votka (Olten) ist der Offizielle One Hustle Records DJ. Mit ihren kreativen Flows, bewussten Lyrics und ansteckenden Beats reden One Hustle Records über Themen der heutigen Welt und geben uns ihre Geschichten sowie Lebenserfahrungen wieder, die ihrem neuen Album „The New Faces Of Switzerland“ einen einzigartigen und neuen Ton geben.
Wie wenn das nicht genug für ein Debut-Album wäre, ist die erste Single „Like That“ von B.Stone ft. Swissivory als erster Schweizer Track, auf dem im nächsten Monat von DJ Smallz erscheinenden „Southern Smoke“ Mixtape zu hören. Das Musikvideo zu „Like That“ wird passend dazu auch im Februar veröffentlicht. Die ersten CD.. s kann man am 2. Februar in der Fame Disco in Zürich erhalten.

Members include:

- Swissivory, a DJ and producer born in the Ivory Coast, from a Swiss Father. He has international experience as a DJ, has produced tracks for DMX, Busta Rhymes, Redman, the Outlawz (2Pac) and his credits include Chamillionaire and Obie Trice and more. Swissivory has his own beats website from which he has sold numerous beats and also had over 1 million hits in 2 years. He is the CEO of One Hustle Records.

- B. Stone, an artist born in Ghana, who came to Switzerland at age 13 and has a talent for rapping as well as singing. He has already released an EP independently through concerts and promotional shows across Switzerland.

- Myr.I.Am, a female singer with an amazing Soul/RnB voice. She can sing different styles, including opera, jazz, gospel and more. Myr.I.Am is part Italian and part Tunisian, born and raised in Zurich. She won different local singing competitions, and performed at many live events around Switzerland.

- Tru Story, who has appeared in the recent Swiss Movie “Breakout” with Rap Star Stress. He is the conscious voice of One Hustle. His unique flow and style will most definitely make him one of the brightest stars for the future of Swiss Hip Hop.

- Farmer, a reggae artist born and raised in Trinidad & Tobago, is a talented rapper / reggae artist. Started music in Antigua at the age of 15 and came to Switzerland to have a better life. Farmer has deep lyrics with a message and is determined to bring a change with his music.

- DJ Votka, a DJ from Olten, Solothurn, is the official One Hustle DJ. He has performed at many events with big name MC’s and is a talented turntablist and beatmaker. Be on the lookout for upcoming ONE HUSTLE MIXTAPES!
