Southpaw a band out of Pomona, C.A. It all started in 2002 with a couple of friends by the names of Fausto Rivera and Mike Shaffer. Fausto had a reggae band with two friends Ryan and Jerry. They would sometimes call Mike over to have jam sessions, they would call this combo Doldrum. Fausto and Mike continued jamming and Doldrum was now Southpaw. They did this with two other members Brian and Robbin. Spending many days in the Tower studio's on Second Street they put songs together like Oh well, Playing someone else's guitar, and happy. Southpaw played many show in the L.A. Area, rocking places like the Cat Club and the Derby. Late 2004 Fausto's old friends Eric Rubalcava and Paul Corley came together to make which is know a three piece. Taking there Influences for a tour to Mexico City, in early 2005. Now Southpaw is working on there fourth album and taking there new songs on the road mid 2007 with there newest member Eric Zimmerman.
