People I used to know...
People I will know in the future :)
I've never been much of a people person, despite being fascinated they usually have wants and desires that do not mesh well with my own and so I get frustrated and withdraw yay for me :)
Anyway if I used to know you, let me know. I'm getting senile. :)
Okay Okay...i know he's a "skinny lunger" but come on, you gotta agree Doc Holiday in Tombstone was a badass:
Cranberries - Zombie
The Original Version
BeForU - Yakusoku (Promise)
Arisawa Miharu - I Am
Lee Jung Hyun - Michyeo
Riyu Kosaka - Danzai no Hana - Guilty Sky
Claymore Closer
Nicolas Tse - Covering the Beetles
BeForU
I like lots of different kinds of music...just depends on the song and I've tried to come up with a unifying characteristic or 2 or 10 but have never come up with one.
I am of the opinion that Music is the perfect combination between pure, empirical, scientific, mathematical, articulation and dirty, raw, uadulterated, passion.
I think "Ramble On" by Led Zeppelin is the -best- road trip song ever.
The only song I'll risk blowing out my car's subwoofers for is "Paul Revere" by the Beastie Boys.
It's a tossup between "Bullet With Butterfly Wings" and "Bodies" by Smashing Pumpkins as to which one most accurately describes me and my life.
The Smashing Pumpkins are kinda like therapy for me. Maybe because they're the first music I ever liked just because I liked it not because they were terribly popular or a friend introduced me to them or whatever.
So like, here's a few ideas at the present time:
Smashing Pumpkins, Sarah Brightman, Violent Femmes, My Chemical Romance, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Panic At the Disco, Toadies, Led Zeppelin, Breaking Benjamin, Plain White T's, Beastie Boys, Live, Lee Jung Hyun, Riyu Kosaka, BeForU, Aqua, Nicolas Tse
nnng....there's so many others that when I am asked, "What bands do you like?" I just go "Uhhh..."
I'll add more as I go along
AQUA lyrics
Sleepy Eyes of Death......Quite possibly the most enlightening series of movies I've ever seen...
Asoka! Really cool Bollywood epic about the life (although a fictional rendition) of King Asoka, complete with internal music videos, kinda like a musical but not!
I like Samurai movies and such...I'm even starting to accustom myself to Westerns because they're kinda like Samurai movies...
Anime: Noir, Love Hina, El Hazard, Record of Lodoss Wars, Full Metal Panic...hmmm...I'm sure there's more, but I can't concentrate enough to remember them with the Awesome Noir OST...oh, Escaflowne (or Esca-flonaise, if you like), Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop...New Additions: Claymore, Utawarerumono.
