About Me

So welcome to my page .......
DJ for over 15 years but because of raising a family and personal choices I set it to the side. Gotta give a shout out to Rane Scratchlive with that concept which helped me save awhole lotta duckets being able to use my MP3 music instead of buying records and for the biggest thing .... lunging those crates around. I do give credit where credit is due though to those dj's that do still carry around records.
Before djin I was a party MC that headlined around alot of hip hop clubs through out San Diego. I had the pleasure of working at some hot spots back in the day ... And it still feels good when I see people and they say damn ... remember back in the day when .... was cracking till 4 am. Clubs like The Blue Agave, T.A.P.S., Antonios, The Rox, The Blue Tattoo just to name a few. I also did a long stint as the host for Dorian and The Fade II Black Male exotic dancers!
Also got a taste of radio back in 2002 having the chance of a lifetime being able to work on Z90 for a few weeks before it got sold to Clear Channel with the likes of Tre, Billy Blast, and Eric D as an intern. During that stint I had the oppurtunity of blessing the stage with some great SD dj's like Rags, Rage, Slyde, just to name a few. On top of that I was able to be MC (Master Of Ceremonies)for Ludacris, 2ND To None, SugaFree, Naughty by Nature, Busta Ryhmes, Wu-Tang Clan, Dj Quik, Aaron Hall, and Howard Hewitt.
As for djin I have the greatest pleasure being able to be taught, and intern with some of SD greatest Dj's in no particuliar order .... Lonzo Da Mayer & Baby Crown, Barry B, Mike Soul, Dj Pokkey, Dj Dnyce, TBone, Forty, Charlie Rock, Bounce, Rags, Rage, Slyde, Tech, Dale, GiGi, Chocolate, Wreckless, and my 2 most influential DJ Henry Diaz and Dj Anthony Orlando aka Tone Capone both pioneers in the business who i'm sorta interning with. And although I don't consider myself a great Dj i consider myself as 1 who knows how to get the job done. My main love of djin is old school hip hop and the music that made that what it was. Groups like Mandrill, Bob James, The Meters, Chocolate Milk, James Brown, anything from the years 1965 to 1990 just to name a few. After that I would have to say House music which no matter what anybody says ..... its a feeling.
