“There are many powers in the world, for good or for evil. Some are greater than I am. Against some I have not yet been measured. But my time is coming.”
"End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it."
"What? Gandalf? See what?"
"White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise."
"The courtesy of your hall is somewhat lessened of late, Theoden son of Thengel."
"After all, to the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure."
"The truth is a beautiful and terrible thing, and should therefore be treated with great caution."
"It is our choices Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities."
"It was foolish to come here tonight, Tom," said Dumbledore calmly. "The Aurors are on their way –"
"And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure."

Alone, a symbol is meaningless, but with enough people...
...blowing up a building can change the world."
"I dare do all that may become a man; Who dares do more is none." -- William Shakespeare (Macbeth, Act I, Sc. VII; written around 1605)
"Where the people fear the government, there is tyranny. Where the government fears the people, there is liberty." -- Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826)
"People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people." -- Hugo Weaving (1960- )
"The truth is a beautiful and terrible thing, and should therefore be treated with great caution."
"REMEMBER MY LAST, PETUNIA."
"Naturally, naturally," murmured Dumbledore apparently to himself, still observing the stream of smoke without the slightest sign of surprise. "But in essence divided?"
"Well – it's just that you seem to be laboring under the delusion that I am going to – what is the phrase – 'Come quietly.' I am afraid I am not going to come quietly at all, Cornelius. I have absolutely no intention of being sent to Azkaban. I could break out, of course – but what a waste of time, and frankly, I can think of a whole host of things I would rather be doing."
