Sweet Memory Sounds is now in its 5th Year! Thanks to all for the support and making it a geat night every month, we'll celebrate at the end of 2009 with a huge birthday party. In 08 We brought you a load of great artists from VV Brown to Dreadzone. Eclectic and Quality are the keys.This year Hoodoo Scoundrels and Vadoinmessico are hosting the Tuesday Live sessions and each month are both booking their favourite electric and acoustic acts from the UK and beyond.DJ Derek, Tom Murray and Adam Callan will be on the decks.SWEET MEMORY SATURDAYS: Resident Djs: DJ Derek, Adam Callan.. Runs 2nd Saturday every month.Rock n Roll, Soul, Ska, Reggae, R&B, Rock, the unique vibe you can only find on SMS. We have DJs playing groove based music to move to, with the DJ sets having an emphasis on black music but on the live front opening up the vibe to anything we love. SMS has enjoyed guest residencies from the likes of Gaz Mayall, one off DJ spots from Natty, Pama International, Duke Vin, and many more and on the live front had performances from bands as diverse as No.1 Station, Dreadzone Soundsystem, VV Brown, Akayzia Parker, Anna Calvi, Morrisson Steam Fayre, Alan Pownall, Sam Beer, or The Trojans. .BACKGROUND ART BY JESSICA ALBARN
