My Interests

I like and enjoy lots of things...running (I hope to run the California Marathon), reading (like movies, I will read just about anything except horror - never got into the blood and guts stuff), knitting (I am slow, but it is a fun hobby), computers and programming, video games, baking (I make some of the best vegan goodies around, or so I am told), comics (I prefer DC over Marvel and there is some Indy stuff that I like), friends (I don't have tons, never have been a social butterfly, but I have the ones that count), etc.

I'd like to meet:

Fun, interesting and creative people...and if you know any animals that fit that description, them too!

Music:

A little of this and a little of that...not really big on rap or country though. Current favorite artists are Miles Davis, Korn, Otis Redding, Pink, the Smiths, Depeche Mode and Red Hot Chile Peppers

Movies:

With the exception of horror flicks, I will watch most anything at least once...but some of my favorites are Pirates of the Caribbean (all), Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Indiana Jones (all 3), The Incredibles and Monsters, Inc.

Television:

First off thank goodness for TiVo, but my current favorite shows are - Grey's Anatomy, the Office, 30 Rock, Lost (although I hate this show as much as I like it), Myth Busters, Good Eats, and Everyday Italian.

Books:

I have read lots of books, but I am not sure that I have single favorite...it is more like bookshelves of favorites. :) A couple that come to mind are: Little Women, The Illustrated Warrior, The Nanny Diaries and the Birds of Pray series.

Heroes:

Bat Girl/The Oracle
