God.
Also, I want to meet people who have taken photos of me that I have not seen or do not own a copy of. This happens far too often!
Real Life is Far More Interesting:
United States Congressional Record - March 17, 1993 - Vol. 33, page H-1303 - Speaker- Rep. James Traficant, Jr. (Ohio) addressing the House:
"Mr. Speaker, we are here now in chapter 11. Members of Congress are official trustees presiding over the greatest reorganization of any Bankrupt entity in world history, the U.S. Government. We are setting forth hopefully, a blueprint for our future. There are some who say it is a coroner's report that will lead to our demise."

"Where is it written in the Constitution, in what article or section is it contained, that you may take children from their parents and parents from their children, and compel them to fight the battles of any war in which the folly and wickedness of the government may engage itself? Under what concealment has this power lain hidden, which now for the first time comes forth, with a tremendous and baleful aspect, to trample down and destroy the dearest right of personal liberty? Who will show me any Constitutional injunction which makes it the duty of the American people to surrender everything valuable in life, and even life, itself, whenever the purposes of an ambitious and mischievous government may require it? ... A free government with an uncontrolled power of military conscription is the most ridiculous and abominable contradiction and nonsense that ever entered into the heads of men." -- Daniel Webster (1782-1852), US Senator

"The simulacrum is never what hides the truth - it is truth that hides the fact that there is none.
The simulacrum is true."
- Jean Baudrillard,
"Simulacra and Simulation" page 1, attributed to Ecclesiastes
Fail to grasp the brilliance of this? Go back and reread the quote.
Consider what it means.
Then consider that the quote does not appear anywhere in Ecclesiastes, but is widely used by writers all around the internet and in course outlines by college professors, all of whom cite Ecclesiastes as its origin.
Now consider how that principle applies to everyday life.
There are no such things as heroes.
People are looking for Spiderman, Batman, some savior or the Lone Ranger to swoop in and save them from their everyday frustrations and problems on a larger scale that are "out of their control."
Nobody is going to save you except you. We all have inspirations in life, but the only "hero" that you need is yourself for getting through each day and every situation and moving on to the next.
