About Me

YO, I'M SHANE!!
My passions in life are mainly art and music. However I guess this explanation is rather too broad, considering that I love art, but I'm not really a fan of the pretentious, snobby established art scene. And even though I may have a passionately wide music taste, I do not love all forms of music.
My occupation is a framer, but other than that I have my preferable job as an artist. I have been experimenting with painting/drawing and creativity all my life. I graduated with a fine art degree in 2005, but its not a degree in art or a celebrity artist name that makes you a real artist. The credible artists are those who put their artistic passion, creative ideas and their cause before money, fame and stay true to their art and what they believe in.
Culturally I'm very interested in PUnK culture. I love the whole punk D.I.Y artistic expression and the music. I like its politically aware,'opened eyed' view of the world. And punk's non-apathetic attidude towards all the crap that goes on throughout the globe (for instance, punks OPPOSE and protest AGAINST fascism, sexism, discrimination, oppression, exploitation, war and the corruptions of power). Also i'm interested in the free thinking and independant mind that true punks have... to do what you subjectively feel is right, and to opose being controlled, dictated to, brainwashed or opressed by others (because we are all equal individuals, not slaves).
Other than that I would say that I'm a nice, caring guy who will be anyones friend. cheers.

I'M A MUSIC GEEK!!!!!!
I find it hard to explain wot kind of music I like cz I like so much so here goes.
I think I have quite a broad taste in music, however I mainly listen to various forms of PUNK ROCK, METAL and DANCE MUSIC. But my music collection is full of all different kinds of genres ranging from 1980s THRASH PUNK to early 1990s RAVE MUSIC to GRINDCORE METAL to CHILLOUT TRIP-HOP stuff to OLD SKOOL HIP HOP to INDIE to SKA to PSYCHOBILLY to REGGAE.
I'm mainly into ROCK based stuff, but I have a keen interest in Dance/Electro type stuff aswell. I like any raving, raw, gritty, underground dance music like Drum 'n' Bass, Jungle, Breakcore, Dark Hardcore Techno, Speedcore n Old Skool Rave.

Anything fuct up like those mental janpanease films and cult, gore, horror films
really raw, arty farty, underground, low budget films

light hearted comedys

Television:

Dont watch it, its shit!!!!! Especially 95% of the channels on sky digital. TV was better when there was just 4 channels.

Books:

I'm not really into story books. But I love educating myself, So I guess I like educational books that teach me about topics that I find interesting.

Heroes:

Old skool He-man n thats it, not the new He-man hes a big PUSSY!!! if it werent for he-man back in the 80s with his teachings about morals and good will, i would av ended up a druggy waster, alcoholic, criminal in prision!!!! Oh and Captin Plannet.
