Johnny Vans is no ordinary singer/songwriter his songs take you on a journey of discovery and brings you to your destination in a different state of mind. Writing original music for years in the role of guitar player in the rock bands SHINE and BIG RED DAWN he realised he was only getting to say a part of what was in his head. So he packed his bags and set off on his journey of singer/songwriter-dom. To date he released one 4 track E.P. which has received airplay on a number of radio stations including the award winning show (across the line) on radio Ulster. He has steadily gigged around N.Ireland in all the local haunts before taking a much needed hiatus to concentrate on his song writing. This was enhanced when he attended an IMRO song writing workshop where he met a number of charming people who broadened his mind even further BUT HES BACK! Soon to be released is his first long player TWO HILLS IN A VALLEY on C.D. SO GET READY TO HERE A LOT MORE FROM THE MAN
