My dad said I’d lose my head if it wasn’t attached to my body. I kind of have to agree with him. I mean, on one hand, NO I’m not going to lose my head – it’s stuck on me. You know? But yes, I would lose it if it weren’t stuck on me. See, I’m not the most responsible. I tend to forget things…..everywhere. My keys, my wallet, my luggage. I’ve lost too many checks to care. And you know, they always take out $20-$25 just to send me another one. I think that’s a little ridiculous. If you think about it, the paper and ink to print it out probably costs about 5 cents tops. And the stamp to mail is no more than39 cents. So why do they take out $25? Just to cancel the other one? Is it a conspiracy between the banks and employers because they know there are people like me that they can make more money off of? I think I have to agree with myself on that one. My fault. But a result of my forgetfulness is charm. I think it makes people happy to see someone leave their keys behind and then call after them and return the keys. Then when I smile cause I feel so dumb for leaving them, it makes them feel even better. And so I feel my forgetfulness is also my charm. I don’t know what to say about my clumsiness. That’s just funny. I’m not sure how a person can be more clumsy than another. But it’s true. Is it because I’m so happy with what I’m doing that I don’t care to notice that the door in front of me is the one I’m going to stub my toe on? I think I just answered my own question. So I can safely say that people who are less clumsy are less happy because they focus more on the present as a result of having nothing happy to think about. I love being deep. It comes just as easily as being clumsy. Sometimes I wonder if I was a dog in a past life. Dogs never stare in one place for more than eleven seconds. Neither do I. Dogs are always happy when they wake up. So am I. People throw food and I chase it – it’s just too coincidental. I would have been one of the dogs that look like they’re smiling. Not a bloodhound or anything like that – but more like a dingo or a bichon frise. If you don’t know what those look like, it’s worth the google – they’ll make you smile. My best friend and I can laugh at those Bichon Frise calendars for hours. Oh, I’m in love….that could be a BIG reason why I leave my keys and stub my toes.
