the parachutes is a musical outlet for paul genzink. he is taking time away from the parachutes to join up with dear future and take over the bass position. thanks to everyone who came out and supported us for so long. it's time for new experiences.
a summary:
i woke up this morning with horrible morning breath. i proceeded to brush my teeth and grab some poptarts to fill my churning stomach. i then sat down at my keyboard and opened my poptarts while i waited for it to power up. i played three chords and then turned off the keyboard. i didn't feel like writing this morning. i have mounds of small pieces of paper covered with a few sentances, most of which i will never use. they're more for show anyways. i haven't shaved in 3 weeks and it doesn't even itch. i hum a tune as i walk on the sidewalks of downtown holland and pray to God i don't forget it by the time i get home, or even worse, that the tune already belongs to a hot shot band who's made it to trl 30 times. it begins to rain and i head back home. my shirt is drenched as i search for something to wipe my glasses off with. entering the house through the frontdoor, i sit at the piano, this time i've got new ideas. this time there's inspiration. all i needed was rain.
