About Me

Going on 29 years as a comic & 15 years as a parent. The beautiful child the Lord blessed me with has mutated into a teen-ager. More beautiful than ever, smart, talented, popular, involved in many extra curricular activities, able to type 7 times faster than me & totally bewildered that people would pay me to entertain anyone, much less teen-agers.

You can check my eclectic schedule & see some of the weird things a gracefully aging non-famous comic does to make a living at www.comedyguy.net . I am fortunate to work alot in Houston & will be hitting LA in June for the first time in 20 years.

In what some might find another in a series of paradoxes, I will be staying with my buddy Dick Williams & participating in the Christian Comedy Assosiations annual conference. Dick should be linked here somewhere.

I met Dick about 13 years ago as we were both getting divorced. Dick was a former street preacher pissed off at God & starting in Comedy whilst developing his patented "The Void Beats Everything" philosophy. I was a former party hearty rock & roll club comic trying to figure out life, God, Jesus, the Bible, my ex, my destiny, my next move. That was of course, defensive driving, something every non famous comic does at one time or another unless they have other actual marketable skills.

I thought I might have to dump Dick as a friend because of something in the Bible about "apostate"........but the Lord told me that that was a misprint & Dick is one of His favorites. Apparently, the Bible started out as letters & orally handed down stories of Jesus & other Bible folks before eventually being collected into 66 books (a few more if you're Catholic), canonized, & translated into more versions than there are languages. So while I believe there are some inconsistancies in some of the words in whichever version of the Bible you read, I believe it is a transformational collection of inspired books leading us to follow the real Jesus, who modeled a life of love, forgiveness, non-judgement of others & sacraficial service.

Didn't mean to go off---you want funny?? Check the video on my website or read Dick's blurb (he's nuts!!) ;
